According to COPE instructions, here are the journal Ethics:
Ethics Statement:
The Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery (PAJN) adheres to the ethical standards described by the Committee on Publication Ethics and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. Authors should adhere to these standards. For all manuscripts reporting data from studies involving animal or human participants, formal review and waiver (exemption), or formal review and approval by the ethics committee or institutional review board (IRB) is required, as well as any necessary HIPAA consent. This should be mentioned in the Methodology section. The Journal reserves the right to request any research materials on which the paper was based. The editor may reject the manuscript if there are concerns that the study was not performed in an appropriate ethical framework.
Patient Permission Policy:
All studies involving human participants should include a statement that written consent has been given by all participants. Any photos showing the faces of the patients should be covered. A signed patient permission statement must be signed by every patient who is recognizable from the manuscript or the photos, and a copy should be submitted with the manuscript.
Plagiarism:
The PAJN encourages submission of original work that has not been previously published in part or in whole as well as avoiding any plagiarism. All articles will be evaluated for the presence of plagiarism. The manuscript may be subject to an investigation and retraction if plagiarism is found. Sentences from works of others may be quoted or paraphrased as long as the original work is cited. All submissions are accepted with the understanding that they will not be published elsewhere substantially in any format.
Conflict of Interest:
A list of disclosures is required from every named author in the manuscript. Any relevant financial or non-financial conflicts to the article should be disclosed. Types of conflicts include: Institutional Support, Research Support, Royalties, Consulting, Ownership, Speakers Bureau, Fellowship Support, and Stock/Options. Any commercial entity whose products are reviewed, described, compared, or evaluated in the manuscript, except for those that were disclosed in the Acknowledgments section, represents a potential conflict. If no conflicts exist, please state so in this section.

Funding:
Any source of funding for the study should be declared. If the study was self-funded or there has been no funding other than that of the authors’ institution, this should be specified upon submission.
