Aims and Scope

Pan Arab Journal of Neurosurgery (PAJN), the official journal of the Pan Arab Neurosurgical Society (PANS), is a peer-reviewed, online and in-print journal publishing articles in the field of Neurosurgical Sciences. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original articles, case reports, technical notes, commentary, letter to the Editor and review articles, covering all aspects of Neurosurgery. 

Our aim is to stimulate scientific research and bring the neurosurgeons the best knowledge and research in a clinically useful format in order to improve the health care delivery to patients from the Arab countries and all over the world.To retain interdisciplinary transfer of information between the areas of neuroscience and to undertake a novel effort in the international representation and attribution of published articles are the other aims of the journal.

The scope of the PAJN includes but not limited to basic sciences, neuro-oncology, skull base surgery, cerebrovascular (open & endovascular), functional neurosurgery, epilepsy, neuro-endoscopy, spine, peripheral nerves, pediatric, craniofacial anomalies, and pain management research. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original articles, case reports, technical notes, commentary, letters to the editor, and review articles covering all aspects of Neurosurgery.
