Abstract

Professor Hussein Sulieman Abusalih is the first Sudanese neurosurgeon and one other pioneer neurosurgeons in the Arab and African world, he was the one who established neurosurgical practice in the Sudan and the founder with his colleges who founded many medical and neurosurgical bodies in the region. He was also one of the pioneers Sudanese politicians and has been appointed as a minster of health, housing information, social development and external affairs in different governments.
This man who has passed away in the morning of 6th December 2021 after a rich life full of success and services to his Sudanese Arab and African population has put his finger prints in many aspects of the life in Sudan and surrounding region will not be forgotten and his students and people will remain remembering him and his steps and ideas will light up for the current and the coming generations in the Sudan and the surrounding countries.
